When I have this module loading my server access time slows down to about 25 seconds for that page to load.
When I disable the module the page loads in under a second.

What can I do to speed this up???

I have the same problem, and often events won't show at all. Delays are experienced also when I enable the module on the admin side. The events are fetched from a fan page. I believe that there is some intermittent problem in FB authentication process. My order id, if needed is 1430491321, the site is at www.terredelsud.biz/tds/

Could you email this update to me as well?

I am currently only able to load 5 events at a time if I want my page to load at all and even then it is still very slow.
