We have changed
$create = JRequest::getVar('created');
$publish_up = JRequest::getVar('publish_up');
TO
$create = JHTML::date($article->created, 'Y-m-d H:i');
$publish_up = JHTML::date($article->publish_up, 'Y-m-d H:i');
