Would be cool to get an answer from the developer. I suspect it has to do with the API changes of Facebook and they way the events are crawled.

Please let us know if there is any fix planned for this or at least acknowledge the error.
Its totally okay to not further maintain this plugin if it doesn't seem financially feasable anymore but please let us know so we can look for a different solutions.
